This topical course will introduce the basic principles, applications and latest advances in the area of nano-optics. Students will discover the potential advances nano-scale optics could hold for a broad area of applications, from telecommunication to solid state display, energy and sensing technologies. The course is led by Kevin McPeak, Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering. Prof. McPeak specializes in chiral plasmonic materials.
